There are more incidents had happened in the past.
Northwest Airlines (is now Delta) pilots who claimed they were busy on their personal laptops(i.e. asleep) and overflew Minneapolis/St. Paul, then the Delta pilots who landed on a taxiway in Atlanta, followed by the KLM pilots who earlier this month took off from a taxiway in Amsterdam.
Delta Connection flight attendants got into a fist fight on an aircraft that was taxiing back to the gate because a passenger had a panic attack.
The incident took place at the Greater Rochester (N.Y.)International Airport.
A spokesman for Pinnacle Airlines who was operating the flight for Deltasaid an argument between the two flight attendants was "little" but thecaptain grounded the flight "out of an abundance of caution".
There were75 passengers on Delta flight 887 on Wednesday morning, many of whomwere leaving for their much-needed winter escape from the cold and snow.
After returning to the gate the passengers were re-booked on laterflights.

Memphis-based Pinnacle has taken both of the flight attendantsoff of the flight line pending an internal investigation.
Pinnacle hasoperated for many years as a Northwest AirLInk carrier and became aDelta Connection carrier with the merger of the two airlines in Octoberof 2008.
On the contrary, Chesley Sullenberger, known as "Sully," the pilot of the US Airways plane that crashed into the Hudson River and saved 150 lives is a real pilot and hero!
